This privacy notice explains how Kamakino Media S. DE R.L. ("Kamakino", "we", "us", or "our") handles your personal information when you contact us through our website, kamakino.travel.
Our website has no online shop, no user accounts, and no analytics or tracking. The only place we collect personal information is our contact form, and, if you choose to use it, WhatsApp. If you have any questions, please email us at privacy@kamakino.travel.
 
1.What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the details you enter: your first name, last name, email address, and the content of your message.
If you contact us using the WhatsApp button instead, we receive your message together with the WhatsApp account details you use to send it, such as your WhatsApp name and number. Our website hosting provider may also keep standard technical logs, which can include your IP address, to keep the site secure and running. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and we do not build profiles about you.
 
2.Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use this information only to read and respond to your enquiry, and to follow up with you about it.
Where a data protection law requires us to have a legal basis for using your information, it is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.
 
3.Who has access to it
Your information is handled by the providers we use to run our website and email:

• Our email is provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS WorkMail), where messages sent through the form, or by email, are received and stored.

• Our website hosting provider serves the site and passes on your form submission.

• If you contact us through WhatsApp, that service is provided by Meta, which processes your information under its own privacy terms. We use WhatsApp only to reply to you.

These providers may only handle your information in order to provide their service to us. Some of them may store or process your information in countries other than the one you are in.
 
4.How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages for [up to 24 months] and then delete them, unless we still need them to deal with an ongoing matter or to meet a legal obligation
.
5.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as the right to ask for a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. To make a request, please email us at privacy@kamakino.travel.
If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
